How can I use Hogu Foods to sell food?

Hogu Foods offers you the flexibility to either become a host or a guest. Hosts are the individuals who provide food, while guests are those who purchase it. To become a host, simply follow these steps:

  1. Click on the 'Hogu Foods' button on the main screen.
  2. Select 'View Food Offers' to see a list of nearby kitchens offering food.
  3. Log in to your account, and you'll have the option to add your kitchen to the list of available food providers.
  4. You can also browse through food requests made by other users and contact them if your kitchen can offer that dish.

How can I buy food through Hogu Foods?

Purchasing food via Hogu Foods is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. After clicking on 'View Food Offers,' you will see a list of nearby kitchens sorted by distance.
  2. You can search for your dishes here and pick a kitchen by clicking the 'View' button to see their menu items.
  3. Alternatively, you will find the contact information of the kitchen.
  4. You can text or call them directly to place your food order.
  5. This direct communication method allows you to discuss your specific preferences and requirements with the kitchen.
  6. The kitchen may even call you offering the dishes you want if you've added a food request.

How can I delete my Request for food?

To delete your food request, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the 'Hogu Foods' button on the main screen.
  2. Select 'View Food Requests' to see a list of food requests.
  3. Log in to your account.
  4. Click 'Change' next to your food request.
  5. You'll have the option to delete your request from the platform.
  6. Confirm the deletion, and your request will be removed.

How can I take my kitchen offline?

To take your kitchen offline, follow these steps:

  1. After logging in, navigate to the page that lists kitchens.
  2. If you have a kitchen, you'll find it at the top of the list; if not, you'll see the 'Add Kitchen' button.
  3. To take your kitchen offline, click the 'Change' button associated with your kitchen.
  4. Next, select 'Modify Kitchen' to access options for changing your kitchen's information.
  5. Look for a slider that allows you to change your kitchen's status.
  6. Move the slider to the 'Offline' position.
  7. Finally, click the 'Update' button to save your changes. Your kitchen will no longer appear in the nearby listings for users.

How can I delete my kitchen?

To delete your kitchen, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the 'Hogu Foods' button on the main screen.
  2. Select 'View Food Offers' to see a list of nearby kitchens offering food.
  3. Log in to your account, click Change and you'll have the option to delete your kitchen from the platform.
  4. Confirm the deletion, and your kitchen will be removed.

How can I request a ride using HOGU?

To request a ride using HOGU, follow these steps:

  1. From the main screen, click on 'Hogu Rides'.
  2. Then, click 'Find Ride'.
  3. If you are not logged in, you will get the option to log in.
  4. You will then be prompted to enter your name and phone number.
  5. In the comments section, you can specify your payment method (cash, card, zelle, etc.) and indicate your destination if desired.
  6. Once you submit your request, you will be matched with the nearest driver.
  7. The driver will have your information, and you will have the driver's information and their requirements.
  8. You can contact each other through texts or phone calls from your phone.
  9. Since HOGU is a free service, drivers can offer deeply discounted rates.
  10. Once you mutually agree on the conditions, you can decide on a pickup location.

How can I offer a ride using HOGU?

To offer a ride using HOGU, follow these steps:

  1. From the main screen, click on 'Hogu Rides'.
  2. Then, click 'Offer Ride'.
  3. If you are not logged in, you will get the option to log in.
  4. You will then be prompted to enter your name and phone number.
  5. In the comments section, you can specify how you are accepting payment (cash, card, zelle, etc.) and the charge for the ride, which is usually a discounted price (25 to 40 percent) from popular rideshares.
  6. Once you submit your offer, you will be matched with the next available passenger.
  7. The passenger will have your information, and you will have the passenger's information and their requirements.
  8. You can contact each other through texts or phone calls from your phone.
  9. Once you mutually agree on the conditions, you can decide on a pickup location.

How to Add a Menu Item to Your Kitchen?

To add a menu item to your kitchen, follow these steps:

  1. Your kitchen will become searchable only if you add menu items. To add a menu item to your kitchen, click the 'Change' button next to your kitchen.
  2. Next, click 'Add Menu Item,' which will take you to the screen where you can add menu items.
